In de afgelopen decennia heeft de wereld van het klinisch geneesmiddelonderzoek zich ontwikkeld tot een geheel aparte tak van sport. Gedegen opzet en nauwgezet uitgevoerd klinisch onderzoek is van cruciaal belang om de veiligheid en werkzaamheid van een nieuwe therapie goed te kunnen beoordelen.
